Procurement and contracts

As a business, we are responsible for procuring estates, property and construction goods and services for our clients, customers and shareholders. Managing over 1,400 properties on behalf of our customers and shareholders means we regularly have opportunities for local businesses.

Our approach

Our procurement approach complies with public sector regulations. We aggregate demand for construction work with the supply of estates-related services to our clients, where possible. Our goal is to achieve value for money without compromising on quality. Proactive contract management is key feature of our relationship with suppliers, with the aim of delivering savings to our clients.

I know we all agree that the County Hall Reception Team deliver consistently outstanding customer service all day, every day. I appreciate given how challenging and busy their roles are during the day, their friendly, calm, supportive approach remains in place. I particularly would like to mention the reception team, as they always go the extra mile in resolving queries for staff and visitors. They often anticipate my needs before I have articulated them, and it is an absolute pleasure to interact daily with such wonderful customer service professionals.
